It’s the season to be jolly again! Finally, the NBA is back after that lockout! What a great Christmas gift. Here’s a blog post about the rookies you should watch out for.
JIMMER FREDETTE
This 22 year old from Bringham Young University is now playing as a guard with jersey number 7 for the Sacramento Kings.
Here he is rocking his Kings jersey. :)
In his first game with the Kings during the preseason, he scored 21 points with 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal. Sadly, they lost to the Golden State Warriors.
In his debut game against the Lakers, he scored 6 points with 1 rebound and 3 assists. They beat LA with the score of 100-91! Yeah! Hahaha! Laker hater right here.
RICKY RUBIO
This 21 year old Spanish guy is the first player born in the 1990’s to be drafted in the NBA. He is the point guard of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In his preseason game, he scored 6 points with 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. They won with a score of 117-96 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
In his first season game, he scored 6 points with 5 rebounds and 6 assists. They lost to Oklahoma City Thunder by 4 points, 100-104.
So here are two of the rookies you should watch out for this season of the NBA. Will Jimmer be a King with a ring or will Ricky and his wolf pack win the game?
